At Walnut Grove Coop we don’t just eat lunch we teach at lunch. Our facilitators help children to make positive relationships with other children. During Lunch Bunch, children have plenty of time to eat, socialize, and play. We generally spend at least an hour on the playground, at the sports field, or exploring the property on nature walks. At our facility, we have a small pond, a creek, woods, and a meadow.
Lunch Bunch also practices life skills. Members assist with tasks such as sweeping and helping to clean up their area.
