This is a one-hour weekly Math Literacy class that strengthens math skills. Our group will practice recall, strategy, and application. Math can be fun! We enhance the math literacy experience by leveraging:

- Math in Careers and Real-World Applications
- Foundational Math Practice
- Math Games and Challenges
- Desmo Calculator Skills for SAT prep
This multi-graded cohort and pressure-free environment will encourage even hesitant math learners to engage with mathematics in a new way while building skills.
Our sequence will target four main activities:
Concrete: using physical objects and manipulatives
Representational: creating drawings and symbols
Abstract: using numbers and operators
Retell: peer-supported collaboration and debriefing
