Free Member Tuesdays
Join us every Tuesday from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm for family-friendly activities. This year’s theme is Legends in the Universe. Over the course of the 4 weeks, the group will contribute to our WGC Settlement on Mars. We’ll build a cardboard town and design remote-control town residents in our Maker Space. Participants can also tour the Universe in our dark space featuring a constellation projector. Each week will feature a guided activity as well. Email email@example.com to register for an activity.
Week 1 – July 5: Stories in the Stars
Learn about Greek and Roman mythology. Make your own led light-up myth, legend, or beast!
Week 2 – July 12: Planetary Jewels
Create a necklace or bracelet modeled after our Universe and some of the materials found in it.
Week 3 – July 19: Build a Martian Machine
Our town needs robots. Robot people, pets, vehicles, and more. Use our tools and materials to create.
Week 4 – July 26: Galaxy Slime
Visit the Settlement on Mars and “mine” resources for your personalized recipe for Galaxy Slime.
