All high school teens are welcome to join our service organization. This club is free, secular, and inclusive. No WGC membership is required. Leos are a teen division of the Lions Club International organization. This network is an invaluable resource to our teens and community.
Walnut Grove Coop will sponsor WGC Leos Service Events in conjunction with community funding and contributions. The mission of this club is to serve the local community to foster leadership, youth engagement, and environmental stewardship.
The meeting will be on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Additional time may be provided as needed on Friday morning for Walnut Grove Coop members and on Weekends as needed for all. We are located at 91 Salem Church Rd Newark, DE 19713. WGC Leos will plan all club events and activities. Teens could choose to host monthly WGC family community events (parents’ night out, game night, bonfire, craft/paint night, etc.) to foster togetherness. Other causes that this club might serve are Hunger, Environment, Childhood Cancer, Mental Health, Literacy, and more.
